Sharing Tracks with Your Organization

When you belong to a DailyWorship organization, you can share tracks from your personal library into the organization's shared library. Anyone in the org sees them, can play them, and can add them to organization service plans.

How sharing works#

Every track has a visibility state. The options are:

• Private — only you
• Organization — you and every member of the orgs you belong to
• Public — visible in the global discovery feed

Sharing a track with your organization sets its visibility to Organization for the orgs you've selected.

Share a track#

1. Open the track from your library.
2. Click Share.
3. In the share sheet, tick Share with [Organization Name].
4. Click Save.

The track immediately appears in the organization's shared library.

Where org-shared tracks live#

Org members see shared tracks in two places:

• The Organization Library tab on the org's workspace page
• Their personal library, marked with the org's badge

The track is filterable from the org library by:

• Style, mood, theme
• Member who shared it
• Date shared

Permissions#

By default:

• Worship Leaders and Admins can share tracks to the org, add them to service plans, remove them from the org library
• Members can play and view org-shared tracks but cannot add or remove them
• Original ownership is preserved — only the original creator can delete the track entirely or change its visibility back to private

What sharing doesn't do#

• It doesn't copy the track. There's still one track; sharing just expands who can see it.
• It doesn't change the track's status in the global discovery feed. To publish a track publicly, see Publishing Songs.
• It doesn't grant other members editing rights on the track itself (title, lyrics, audio). They can play and add to plans; only the owner can edit.

Unsharing#

1. Open the track from your library.
2. Click Share.
3. Untick the organization.
4. Click Save.

The track is immediately removed from the org library. Anyone who had it queued or in a playlist loses access. Existing service plan entries are kept but render as "no longer available" until the track is re-shared or replaced.

Belonging to multiple organizations#

You can share the same track with several organizations at once. Each org sees it independently — leaving one org doesn't affect the share with another.

Org-wide vs personal libraries#

Your personal library is yours alone. The org library is shared and visible to all members. Tracks can live in both simultaneously — sharing with an org adds the track to the org library without removing it from your personal library.
