DailyWorship is committed to making worship-music tools usable by people of all abilities. Worship is for everyone, and a worship tool shouldn't exclude people because of how they read, hear, or operate a device.

Our Commitment#

We strive to make our platform accessible to everyone, including people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive differences. We treat accessibility issues as bugs and prioritize them alongside functional work.

Standards We Work Toward#

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our baseline. This aligns with the conformance standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and public-sector accessibility procurement in the UK, EU, and Canada, and supports our commitments under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, the Accessible Canada Act, and Ontario's AODA.

We do not claim full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance today. We are working toward it and have not yet commissioned a formal third-party audit. For a candid account of what's in place, in progress, and not implemented, see Accessibility Features and Commitments.

Highlights of What's in Place#

Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
Screen-reader support via semantic HTML and ARIA, tested regularly with VoiceOver.
Color contrast meeting WCAG AA ratios.
Lyrics available as readable text (a "caption" for the music).
Reduced-motion support that honors your OS setting.

Known Limitations#

We're actively working on: a formal external audit, better Windows high-contrast support, synchronized scrolling captions during playback, and native mobile-app accessibility.

Reporting Issues#

Help us improve:

Email accessibility@dailyworship.net.
Contact Support with "Accessibility" in the subject.
Include a description, the page URL, the assistive technology you use, and any suggestions.

We follow up by email when a fix ships, and we welcome volunteers for accessibility user testing.
