Managing Notification Preferences

Control what notifications you receive and how

Stay informed without being overwhelmed. Customize exactly what notifications you receive and how.

Accessing Notification Settings#

  1. Click your profile pictureSettings
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Choose your preferences for each category

Notification Categories#

Generation Complete#

Get notified when your song is ready.

  • Useful when you're generating longer songs or during busy times
  • Recommended: On

Comments & Replies#

Someone commented on your song or replied to you.

  • Great for community engagement
  • Turn off if you prefer quiet

Approvals Needed#

(Organization accounts) A song needs your review.

  • Important for worship leaders and admins
  • Recommended: On for approvers

We've featured new songs you might like.

  • Discover fresh worship music
  • Turn off if you prefer to browse manually

Followed Creator Releases#

Someone you follow shared a new song.

  • Stay updated on creators you enjoy
  • Recommended: On if you follow creators

Organization Updates#

News from your church or team organization.

  • Service plan changes, new members, etc.
  • Recommended: On for team members

Notification Channels#

Choose how you receive each notification:

In-App Notifications#

  • Appear in your notification bell 🔔
  • Available when you're using DailyWorship
  • Always available, can't be fully disabled

Email Notifications#

  • Sent to your registered email
  • Good for staying informed when away
  • Can be turned on/off per category

Push Notifications#

  • Appear on your phone/desktop
  • Instant alerts even when not using the app
  • Requires allowing notifications in your browser/device

Digest Mode#

Too many emails? Switch to digest mode:

  1. Find Email Frequency
  2. Choose Daily Digest or Weekly Digest
  3. Get one summary email instead of individual alerts

Quiet Hours#

Set times when you don't want to be disturbed:

  1. Enable Quiet Hours
  2. Set your quiet time (e.g., 10 PM - 7 AM)
  3. Notifications are held until quiet hours end
