Setting Up Push Notifications

Get instant notifications on your phone or computer.

What Are Push Notifications?#

Push notifications are alerts that pop up on your device:

• Even when you're not using DailyWorship
• On phone lock screen or notification center
• Quick way to stay informed

Enabling Push Notifications#

First Time#

1. When you first visit DailyWorship, you may see a prompt
2. Click Allow to enable notifications
3. You're set up!

If You Missed the Prompt#

1. Go to Settings → Notifications
2. Click Enable Push Notifications
3. Your browser will ask for permission
4. Click Allow

What You'll Be Notified About#

Choose which notifications to receive:

• ✅ Generation complete
• ✅ Comments on your songs
• ✅ Approval requests
• ✅ New releases from followed creators
• ✅ Organization updates

Customize in Settings → Notifications.

Managing Push Notifications#

On Your Device#

iPhone

Settings → Notifications → Safari/Chrome → DailyWorship

Android

Settings → Apps → Browser → Notifications → DailyWorship

Desktop (Chrome)

Click the lock icon in address bar → Notifications

In DailyWorship#

1. Go to Settings → Notifications
2. Toggle categories on/off
3. Choose push, email, or both

Troubleshooting#

Not Receiving Notifications?#

1. Check device notification settings
2. Ensure browser has permission
3. Check DailyWorship notification settings
4. Try reinstalling the PWA

Too Many Notifications?#

1. Go to notification settings
2. Turn off categories you don't need
3. Use digest mode for email

Notifications Delayed?#

• Phone on power saving mode?
• App closed in background?
• Check your connection
