Planning Transitions Between Songs
How to add notes and transitions in your setlist
Great worship flows smoothly from one song to the next. Here's how to plan transitions.
Adding Transition Notes#
Between any two songs:
- Click the + between songs
- Select Add Transition
- Write your transition note:
- Musical transition (key change, tempo shift)
- Spoken moment (prayer, scripture)
- Visual cue (lights change, video)
- Save

Musical Transitions#
Guide your band:

Spoken Moments#
For the worship leader:

Flow Indicators#
Some setlists show flow markers:
- ⟿ Segue — Go directly into next song
- ⏸ Pause — Brief stop between songs
- 🗣 Speaking — Vocal moment planned
- 🙏 Prayer — Prayer time
Key Relationship Notes#
When songs are in different keys:
- System shows the key change (G → D)
- Add notes like "Modulate up" or "Restart in new key"
Duration Planning#
See how transitions affect timing:
- Each song shows duration
- Transitions can have estimated times
- Total service time calculated
