Sponsoring a Worship Creator, Team, or Mission

Whether you're helping a worship creator, providing accounts to a team, underwriting a missionary's tools, or just wanting to gift a year of DailyWorship to a friend, this page explains the options.

Organization workspace (the main route)#

The cleanest way to sponsor multiple people is an organization workspace on a paid tier.

When you set up an organization and pay for it:

You hold the billing on a single card on file
Members you invite get full paid-tier features within the org
They use their own personal accounts; the org features extend their access while they're a member
If they leave the org, they revert to their personal account's own tier (typically Free)
You get an itemised invoice for the whole workspace, useful for charity accounting

Nonprofit pricing#

Registered non-profits, churches, charities, missions, and seminaries qualify for nonprofit pricing. To apply:

Set up the organization workspace.
Contact support with proof of your status (charity number, denominational letterhead, seminary registration, etc.).
The nonprofit discount is applied to your subscription going forward.

Nonprofit pricing is roughly 25% below the equivalent commercial tier, reflecting that worship tools should remain reachable for mission-driven work.

Sponsoring an individual account#

You can also pay for someone else's personal subscription directly. The flow:

Buy a gift subscription from the pricing page.
Enter the recipient's email and a short personal note.
They receive an email with a code to redeem.
The subscription applies to whatever DailyWorship account they create or already own with that email.

Gift subscriptions are available in one-month, three-month, six-month, and one-year increments at the same price as standard subscriptions.

Sponsoring someone else's account doesn't unlock special features on your own account — you don't get badge-level perks or visibility. The benefit is theirs: full access to whatever tier you're paying for, for as long as you're paying for it.

Sponsors are acknowledged in two places, if they opt in:

On the recipient's profile, with a "supported by [your name]" note
In the recipient's invoices and account history

You can opt out of both — many sponsors prefer to remain anonymous.

Stopping sponsorship#

You can cancel a sponsored subscription at any time from your billing portal. At the end of the current billing period, the recipient's account drops back to its prior tier (typically Free). They keep everything they've generated — sponsorship ending doesn't delete anything.

Bulk and denomination-level sponsorship#

If you're sponsoring more than ten accounts, ten is a good signal that an organization workspace is a cleaner fit than ten individual gift subscriptions. Contact support and we'll help structure it: usually an org workspace on a higher tier, with the sponsored people invited as Members or Worship Leaders.

Tax receipts#

For charities and ministries, we can provide a tax-deductible donation receipt for sponsored subscriptions in jurisdictions where this is supported. Reach out via support with the receiving organization's charity registration.
