Working with Variations

Every time you generate, DailyWorship creates multiple variations. Here's how to use them effectively.

What Are Variations?#

When you click Generate, the AI creates 3-4 different versions of your song:

• Same settings and lyrics
• Different musical interpretations
• Unique melodies, arrangements, and vocal performances

This gives you options to find the perfect version.

Viewing Your Variations#

After generation completes:

1. You'll see thumbnails/cards for each variation
2. A number identifies each (Variation 1, 2, 3, 4)
3. The currently selected one is highlighted

Comparing Variations#

Quick Listen#

Click the play button on any variation to hear it. The playback switches instantly.

A/B Comparison#

Listen to multiple variations back-to-back:

1. Play Variation 1 for a bit
2. Click Variation 2 to switch
3. Compare specific sections

What to Listen For#

• Melody — Which version is most singable?
• Energy — Which matches your intended mood?
• Arrangement — Which instrumentation works best?
• Vocals — Which vocal style fits?

Choosing Your Favorite#

Found the one you love?

1. Click the Save or Heart icon
2. It's added to your library
3. The other variations are still available

Can I Save Multiple Variations?#

Yes! You can save as many variations as you want:

• Save your top 2-3 favorites
• Use different versions for different purposes
• Keep one for Sunday and another for small group

Regenerating#

Don't love any of the variations?

1. Click Regenerate or Generate Again
2. New variations are created with the same settings
3. You can regenerate as many times as you want (within limits)

Tips for Better Results#

If variations aren't what you wanted:

• Adjust your settings (mood, style, tempo)
• Be more specific with your prompt
• Try different scripture or theme

Using Seeds#

Want to recreate a specific variation?

1. Each variation has a seed number
2. Copy this seed from the variation details
3. Enter it when regenerating
4. Same seed + same settings = same result
