Regenerating Sections
Replace individual parts of a song without losing what already works
If a song is almost there but one section lets it down, you don't need to re-roll the whole thing. DailyWorship can regenerate any single section — intro, verse, chorus, bridge, or outro — while leaving everything else intact.
How sections are detected#
During generation, DailyWorship analyses the structure of your track and marks where each section begins and ends. You'll see the detected sections on the track detail page once analysis finishes.
If you generated an older track and don't see a section panel, run harmony analysis from the track detail page to populate it.
Open the section regenerator#
- Open the track from the Studio or your library.
- Scroll to the Section Regeneration panel on the track detail page.
- You'll see every section with its start time, end time, and duration.
Pick what to regenerate#
Tick the box next to one or more sections, then click Regenerate. The track moves into a processing state and you'll see progress updates as the new audio is rendered.
Most section regenerations finish in well under a minute.
What gets preserved#
The regenerator keeps:
- Audio for every section you didn't tick
- The track's overall key, tempo, and structure
- Style, mood, theme, and vocal style
- Instrumentation
So a regenerated verse still feels like part of the same song.
What changes#
- Audio for the sections you ticked
- Internal musical choices within those sections (melodic phrasing, chord voicings, fills)
- Vocal performance within those sections
Version history#
Before every regeneration, the current take is snapshotted as a version. You can compare versions side by side and roll back to a previous take from the track detail page. There's no risk of losing a take you liked by regenerating on top of it.
When to regenerate vs re-roll#

Quota#
Section regenerations count against the same monthly generation quota as full tracks. The pricing model treats a partial regeneration the same as a full one.
