Updating Your Profile

Your profile is how other users see you on DailyWorship. Here's how to customize it.

Accessing Profile Settings#

1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner
2. Select Settings from the dropdown
3. Click Profile in the settings menu

Changing Your Display Name#

Your display name appears on songs you share and comments you leave.

1. Find the Display Name field
2. Enter your new name (2-50 characters)
3. Click Save Changes

Note: Display names must be appropriate and family-friendly.

Updating Your Profile Picture#

Add a photo or avatar to personalize your profile:

1. Click on your current profile picture or the default avatar
2. Select Upload New Photo
3. Choose an image from your device (JPG, PNG, max 5MB)
4. Crop and position your image
5. Click Save

Adding a Bio#

Tell other worshippers a bit about yourself:

1. Find the Bio section
2. Write a short description (up to 200 characters)
3. Share your church, ministry, or worship background
4. Click Save Changes

Setting Your Location#

Optionally share your general location to connect with local worshippers:

1. Find the Location field
2. Enter your city, state, or country
3. This helps people find local worship communities

Denomination Preference#

Set your denominational background to personalize content:

1. Select your Denomination from the dropdown
2. This affects doctrinal lens filters and recommendations
3. You can change this anytime

Profile Visibility#

Control who can see your profile:

• Public — Anyone can view your profile and public songs
• Private — Only your name shows on shared content
