Changing Your Password

Keeping your password secure protects your account and saved music. Here's how to update it.

How to Change Your Password#

1. Click your profile picture → Settings
2. Select Security from the menu
3. Find the Change Password section
4. Enter your Current Password
5. Enter your New Password
6. Confirm your New Password
7. Click Update Password

Password Requirements#

Your new password must:

• Be at least 8 characters long
• Include at least one uppercase letter
• Include at least one lowercase letter
• Include at least one number
• Not be the same as your current password

Tips for a Strong Password#

1. Use a passphrase — String together random words like "GreenTurtleSings42"
2. Avoid personal info — Don't use your name, birthday, or church name
3. Make it unique — Don't reuse passwords from other sites
4. Use a password manager — Tools like 1Password or Bitwarden help you create and remember strong passwords

What If I Forgot My Current Password?#

If you can't remember your current password:

1. Log out of your account
2. Go to the Login page
3. Click Forgot Password?
4. Follow the password reset process

Logging Out of Other Devices#

After changing your password, you may want to log out of other devices:

1. Go to Settings → Security
2. Find Active Sessions
3. Click Log Out All Other Devices

This ensures only you have access to your account.
