See chord changes as you listen! On-screen chords sync perfectly with your song.
Enabling On-Screen Chords#
- Open a song and start playback
- Look for the Chords button in the player
- Click to toggle chords on/off
- Chord display appears above the player
What You See#
As the song plays:
- Current chord is highlighted large
- Upcoming chords appear to the right
- Chord changes are perfectly timed
- Section markers show verse, chorus, etc.
Display Options#
Size#
- Large — Full screen chord display
- Compact — Smaller overlay during playback
Transpose#
- Click the key button to change the displayed key
- Chords update instantly
- Useful for quick transposition
Show Lyrics#
- Toggle lyrics with chords
- Helpful for learning songs

Chord Notation#
We display chords using standard notation:
- Major: G, C, D
- Minor: Am, Em, Bm
- Seventh: G7, Cmaj7, Am7
- Slash chords: D/F#, C/E
- Suspended: Dsus4, Asus2
Accuracy#
Chords are generated by our AI harmony analysis:
- Usually very accurate
- Complex songs may have rare variations
- Simplified for playability when appropriate
