Generating on Mobile
Using the Studio from a phone or tablet browser
The Studio is built to work on mobile browsers — phone or tablet. You can write prompts, pick parameters, generate tracks, and listen to results without leaving your phone.
What works on mobile#
Everything that works on desktop works on mobile:
- The full generation form (style, mood, theme, tempo, key, vocal style, instrumentation, duration)
- Live generation progress
- Audio playback with the mini-player
- Track detail view, including section regeneration
- Library browsing, search, and filters
- Playlist management
- Service plan editing
A few practical mobile tips#
Prompt input is faster with voice dictation. Mobile keyboards have built-in voice-to-text. Tap the microphone on your keyboard and speak your prompt — particularly useful when you have a song idea on a walk or in the car.
Use landscape for parameter-heavy generation. The generation form fits more dropdowns on screen at once in landscape orientation on a phone.
Background playback keeps working. When you start a track playing and then switch apps or lock the phone, audio continues. Lock-screen controls show the track title and let you play / pause / skip.
Save data on metered connections. Audio streams as you play — over cellular, a 4-minute track is roughly 4–8 MB. Generation itself uses minimal bandwidth (the heavy work happens on our servers).
What's not optimised yet#
- The admin analytics dashboard is dense and works best on a tablet or laptop.
- Multi-track service planner drag-and-drop is easier with a pointer; on phones, use the up/down arrows on each row instead of drag.
Native mobile apps#
DailyWorship currently runs in the mobile browser. We're tracking demand for native iOS and Android apps and will share an update when there's something to share. If a native app would change how you use DailyWorship, please tell us — that signal directly shapes the roadmap.
In the meantime, you can save the web app to your home screen for one-tap access:
- iOS: In Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen.
- Android: In Chrome, tap the menu → Add to Home screen.
It opens full-screen, behaves like a native app, and remembers you're logged in.
