Downloading Stems

Stems are individual instrument tracks from your song. Download them for rehearsals, mixing, or creating custom arrangements.

What Are Stems?#

A full song is made up of multiple parts:

• Drums/Percussion
• Bass
• Keys/Piano/Pads
• Guitars
• Lead Vocals
• Backing Vocals/Choir
• Other Instruments
• Click Track (optional)

Stems let you access each part separately.

How to Download Stems#

1. Open a song from your library
2. Click Download → Stems
3. Select which stems you want:

• All stems
• Individual instruments

1. Click Download
2. A ZIP file downloads with separate audio files

Using Your Stems#

In a DAW#

Import stems into Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton, Pro Tools, etc.

• Adjust levels
• Add effects
• Create custom mixes

For Rehearsals#

Give specific stems to each musician:

• Drummer gets the click track
• Bassist gets bass + drums
• Vocalists get instrumental track

For In-Ear Monitors#

Sound engineers can create custom IEM mixes from stems.

File Formats#

• WAV — Full quality, larger files (recommended for editing)
• MP3 — Smaller files (good for sharing/practice)

Stems are generated using advanced source separation technology:

• Minimal bleed between instruments
